For larger pieces, the price depends on size, detail, placement and the number of sessions. That is why there is no price list for them, but a fixed price. It is set in the consultation together with the design, with a session plan for larger pieces. You know it before you confirm an appointment. Nothing is added on the day.

Yes, for smaller pieces. We take walk-ins Monday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm, depending on the day, tattooed by resident artists only. We only start what can be finished in the same session, and we tell you before we say yes. Large pieces, cover-ups and realism start with a consultation, because the composition has to be settled before the first line.

No. The consultation also runs by video, directly with your artist: idea, references, placement, size. The sketch is made during the call. Design and fixed price are agreed before you travel. Your time in Berlin then goes into one thing: the tattoo.

Often, yes. We decide from a photo or in person, not over the phone. The old pigment stays in the skin; only laser breaks it down. So the new piece is designed around what is already there and is usually a little larger than the old one. With very dark, dense tattoos, partial laser lightening first is the better route. We tell you in the consultation, before a needle is involved.

One studio, one team: Neue Kantstraße 6 in Charlottenburg, since 2020. We work in German and English. Every needle is sterile and used once. Nothing is tattooed until you have approved the stencil placement on your skin. Music plays, nobody rushes.

From the consultation on, you have a direct line to your artist: for questions and for changes to the design, right up to the appointment. The design is adjusted until you approve it. A tattoo can only be removed by laser, over several sessions. Changing it works without that: as a redesign that extends or incorporates the existing piece, or as a cover-up that replaces it. Which route works on your skin is decided in the consultation, looking at the original.

Yes. Bring your drawing. Before it goes on skin, your artist checks two things: whether every element stays readable at actual size, and whether the shape fits the placement you chose. Anything that needs to change for that, you see in the design. The decision is yours.

You get the aftercare instructions before you leave the studio. The basics: clean gently with mild soap and lukewarm water, pat dry, apply a thin layer of cream. For two weeks, no hot water, no swimming, no direct sun. Don't scratch and don't pick off flakes. Once it has healed, we look at the piece together. Where the ink has not settled evenly, it is touched up. That is part of the work, at no extra cost.

Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo. If you are under 18, you must come together with a parent or legal guardian. A written declaration of consent is also required.

Yes, from the tattoo appointment on – not from the conversation. The consultation and the first design cost nothing: a design without a conversation has nothing to stand on, so the conversation comes first and not on the invoice. When you book a tattoo appointment, a deposit secures it. Your artist then works out the final design, and that time is reserved for you. You show up: the full deposit comes off your final price. You reschedule: it stays credited to your new date. You don't show up without notice: it is forfeited, because the work on the design is already done.
