What if I don't like the result in the end?
That's why nothing here comes from a template. Every tattoo starts with a free consultation where your artist develops a live sketch with you, not one sent by email afterwards. You see the placement as a stencil on your skin, from several angles, before a needle is involved. Nothing starts until you truly agree.
Honest answers, before you book
"Does it hurt?" The honest answer.
It does hurt, and how much depends on the spot. Ribs, elbows and ankles are felt more than the upper arm or calf. What helps: a good night's sleep, not on an empty stomach, no alcohol beforehand. At your first appointment your artist explains exactly what to expect at your chosen spot, before the needle even touches down.
"What does it really cost in the end?"
Before you confirm an appointment, you know the price range. Smaller walk-in pieces start from 100 €, larger projects get a clear quote after the consultation based on size, level of detail and number of sessions, not an estimate that suddenly changes on the day.
"What if I end up with the wrong artist?"
You don't choose blind. In the consultation we match your idea to the artist whose style fits it, realism and black & grey with Josef, fine line and micro realism with Cali and Jvd. If you'd like to see whose hand suits your idea first, just tell us what you have in mind.
"How bad is the healing?"
The first days are sensitive, that's normal. You get clear aftercare instructions before you leave the studio, no hunting for a leaflet at home. And if a small touch-up is needed after full healing, we take a look and touch it up at no extra cost, because every skin holds pigment differently and that only shows once healing is complete.
"Do I already need to know exactly what I want?"
No. A rough feeling is enough to start, a colour, a place on your body, a word that matters to you. Reference photos help but don't have to be perfect. The rest takes shape together with your artist in the consultation.
