3. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin (www.datenschutz-berlin.de).
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, and Cloudflare Germany GmbH). On our behalf, Cloudflare processes data automatically transmitted when the website is accessed and provides content-delivery and security functions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of the website (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Any transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Server log files
When you access the website, information is automatically stored in so-called server log files that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. Collection takes place to ensure trouble-free operation and security (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
6. Cookies and consent
Our website uses technically necessary elements and – only with your explicit consent – services that use cookies or comparable technologies (in particular Google Tag Manager and embedded Google Maps). On your first visit, we ask for your consent via a consent banner. Without your consent, these services are not loaded. The legal basis for the use of consent-based services is Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
7. Google Tag Manager
With your consent, we use Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The Tag Manager is used to centrally manage website tags. The tool itself does not create user profiles, but it can trigger additional tags that in turn collect data. It is used exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG).
8. Fonts
To display fonts consistently, we embed the fonts we use locally. They are delivered directly from our server or via our hosting provider. No connection to Google servers is established and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.
9. Google Maps
On our contact page, with your consent, we embed maps from the Google Maps service of Google Ireland Limited to show you our location. Data such as your IP address may be transmitted to Google and cookies may be set. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). 10. Contact and forms
If you contact us via the contact or cover-up form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, telephone number, message and any uploaded photos) in order to handle your request. The forms are sent via the service provider Web3Forms (BackND Web Services LLP), which processes the data on our behalf and forwards it to our email address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (handling your request). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this.
11. Online appointment booking
For booking appointments, we link to external booking services (e.g. Fresha). Data processing there takes place under the sole responsibility of the respective provider in accordance with its privacy policy.
12. Social media
Our website contains links to our profiles on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest. Only when you click on one of these links are you redirected to the respective network; the privacy policies of the respective provider apply to their data processing.
13. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar.
